I bought this phone for my wife when her old one stopped working all of a sudden. It is a great deal for the price. The screen is large size, excellent resolution, and very bright. The phone is light weight and slim. We use it with Tmobile and it definitely does get 4gLTE coverage in Midwest US and Texas. The only problem is relatively short battery life compared to other phones I've had, but for the great price and use with no-contract plan I have to give 5 stars. I highly recommend.

Only gave it 4 stars but would most likely give it 5 if I wrote the review more than the few weeks I have had the phone. With 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM is more than enough
for the price I paid which was $150 for this phone brand new. Only negative I found is that it runs on Android Kit-kat, hopefully they update it to Android.Lollipop. When this phone came out it was a $600+ phone without contract.

I really want to love this phone! A great 13 MP camera, 32 GB memory, and an adequate 1.7 ghz processor. However, I have I Wireless a subsidiary of T Mobile and I can not receive high speed data. The specs say 1700/2100, but if you go to the LG website 1700 or 2100 is not listed for the GSM frequencies...

I like buying my cell phones, but I do not like paying so much for an unlocked phone. Both the big carriers were going to charge me an arm and a leg for one of their Samsung's or HTC's. Apple was also expensive and the screen is too small. I was looking at the Mega which was unlocked but was around $400. I saw this phone and looked at the reviews by CNET and others in Europe. It got good ratings. I travel and I like the idea of my phone being unlocked. Not only is it unlocked but it can hold 2 SIM cards for 2 numbers if I like. Excellent choice if you travel. This phone came with 3 covers, white, red, and a black folder style. It has a great 6 inch screen so the keyboard is not small. It has a 13.1 megapixel camera that works ok, but is not good in dark situations. The front camera does well on Skype . Calls are good, apps are good, sound is good. Pretty quick 4 core processor. I use Walmart Family mobile which is actually a T Mobile network and it worked fine just popping in my SIM card. Oh, did I mention that this thing only cost $250 including shipping from Amazon. If you want a good large smart phone but do not want to pay the big company prices, check it out.

I received my package on time. Everything was just as advertised, maybe even a bit nicer. Working well so far. But I can't give 5 stars because one of my favorite features doesn't work. The little microphone that allows speaking to text will not work at all! If anyone else has this problem and fixed it please let me know. I like the phone and you can't beat the price $138.00, but I really need it to operate!

I love the phone. It's perfect size for my hands, not like one of those huge Samsung Note or similar phones that are waay big for a gal's hands. Fairly simply operation - I have most crucial operations figured out. A few down sides it - it doesn't come with a USB cable so I have to go buy one. The need for this is there is no way to set up your own music as ringtone unless you manage to put the sound clip in the ringtone folder, and unless i am missing something here (and I have googled to see if I am) you can't simply just move or copy/paste anything to the ringtones. I think you have to connect the phone to the computer using USB to do that.

The reason I gave only 4 starts is not because of that, though. The phone came with an charger that has a "Type G" plug (the type British use), so you need an adapter to charge it whether you are using it in USA or many parts of Asia. I wish this was mentioned in the product details so I could have ordered an adapter also at the same time from Amazon and saved myself the hassle of having to go get one.

Not much left to say about Moto G and this is the dual-sim version. Fully supported freqs where I live (Europe). With KitKat 4.4.2 and lite to moderate usage, I see battery life 2-4 days which is more then expected.

We got this phone for use in Europe with an international SIM card. The phone worked great with the SIM card and we were able to receive calls everyone in Europe. It has the quad frequency required by most countries. Call clarity was good and the camera takes good pictures. It has many apps already installed - most of them are nice to have but not necessary. We did not use data much in Europe as we were on a cruise and spent time in London using Tube and Bus. Everything is pretty well marked so GPS and other nice apps were not required. The phone has many options and you can make it a secure as you desire. It is small enough to fit snugly is most any pocket. I was concerned about the size because of some previous comments. I found it large enough to use with my big hands but yet compact enough to secure it against possible theft. I also have to say it worked very well with my hearing aid - something that not all phones do well. I am very happy with the phone and plan to use it when we travel later this year. We also use it to call Sri Lanka from the US because the call quality is great and the rates with our SIM are better than our local phone or our US cell phone with ATT.

Just got this and so far it's running smoothly and I was surprised to see that the operating system is actually 4.2.2 Jellybean. This is very comparable and cheaper alternative to the S4. The phone came with earphones an international charger and a usb cable. I am very pleased with this phone I highly recommended it.

I received this phone as a quick fix for an old broken phone. However, I think this will last me longer than I thought. Although the camera is mediocre and the touch is not as responsive as I would like it to be, this phone cannot be beat for the price! Also, it comes with a screen protector and a case! This phone has a solid construction and is probably one of the best deals for an android phone out there.

Having fun with it. While there is a user manual on the bluproducts.com site, it is sparse on information. The proximity sensor turns off the screen while in a call so your face doesn't touch buttons. Couldn't figure out how to end a call or hang up. Here is advice from an android site: Recalibrate the Motion Sensor located at Settings>Gestures>Motion Sensor Calibration>Then it prompts you to recalibrate. That did the job, now when the phone is moved away from my ear, the screen lights up again and allows button pushing.

If you've not used an Android operating system before you may find this phone frustrating. Recommend loitering on Android forums to learn how to use the software. The phone itself is fine. Not too big like Samsung SIII, but bigger than last phone, Samsung Galaxy Centura.

The phone works fine; we only have one sim card in it at present. We went with Red Pocket's ATT compatible card. It'll be nice to be able to buy a local card when we are outside the US. We also have the BLU Jennie phone which is a dual sim very basic phone that works well.

Shockingly Awesome!! I've had many many many smartphones the past couple years and I've tended to hover near Apple products- but this thing blew the socks off me!! It's a 5" display device that actually fits in the hand! Built well, runs flawless- comes with everything you need (case, screen protector, earbuds, etc...) out of the box! This thing runs better than any "samsung" android I've had 10 to 1!! With a 5" display with a 441ppi- you find another phone that can beat that for the price! Mad the camera?? Holy smokes Batman!! I took a picture of a plant and later zoomed up on it and what-do-ya know?! A flipping tiny bug was crawling up the stem and the camera caught it clear as day! For any iPhone users who don't have the money to shell out $700 for a flagship- look no further! This has a lot of mimicked gestures that you love and are use to.. I give this 👍👍👍

First off my old phone was a Samsung Galaxy S3, so that is what I'm comparing this one too. After looking through many reviews I found that most the complaints for this phone were people didn't like the battery life and the home screen (app launcher). The Galaxy S3 had a Li-Ion 2100 mAh battery whereas the BLU Life Pure as an Li-Ion 2020 mAh battery. For me the battery life is not a big deal because I don't use my phone a whole lot for watching videos or playing games. So far the battery has been just fine for me.

As far as the app launcher, it wasn't my favorite. Looks like a iphone knock off. All I had to do to fix this problem was go to the app store and install nova launcher. It works great with the phone and is much better than the home screen look and feel in my opinion.

As far as the speed and responsiveness, it is as least as fast or faster than my Galaxy S3. No complaints there, it is plenty fast. The screen is very nice, the HD looks good. I haven't played a ton with the camera, but it appears to take decent pictures.

Had I paid $400-$600 for this phone, I probably wouldn't have given it 5 stars because of the battery (which isn't all that bad) and the app launcher. However since this phone was only $250 when I bought it, it is worth the money. As far as the specs go, you can pretty much compare this to a Galaxy S4, which will cost you $400-$500 unlocked. You really can't beat the price for what you get with this phone.

I purchased this for my mom, for a friend, and for a cousin. I have to say I am very impressed with this little device. Just so you know where I'm coming from, my cell phone history starts with my current Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Nexus, Blaze 4G... and it goes on and on and on. I am a smart phone aficionado, and this little thing impresses me.

The screen has great viewing angles, and looks great in general. I dare say I like the color and viewing angles better than on my Nexus 5. The blacks don't become a light grey at the extreme corner angles. Obviously, my 5" 1080p is more of a pleasure to use than the 4.5" 720p overall, but I had to comment on just how rich and beautiful the Moto G display is. The size means that it has a PPI of about 329. The iPhone 5's retina display, for comparison, sits at 326ppi. The vast majority of people will need no more than what this display has to offer. And, AND... it's wrapped in Gorilla Glass 3. Not that it should really matter that much, I've had Gorilla Glass scratch and seen it shatter so it isn't a super material... but some people will be glad to have it.

The Quad Core 1.2Ghz Snapdragon 400 was fast enough for me. According to some benchmarks I've seen, it supposedly runs about as fast as the Nexus 4. The difference seems to be that this CPU simply sips on the battery. But, I'll get to more on that later. The GPU seemed fast enough for me on the benchmarks I'd run. Not the fastest, but by no means slow. The device doesn't have as much RAM at 1GB as higher end phones which tend to come in at 2GB. However for the average person this will not matter. Android's memory management is pretty good. While a power user might be able to occasionally catch blips associated to the lack of extra ram, the average user will never see it.

For a casual user, the battery life will simply be phenomenal. My own mom, with some light-ish use on mostly 3G network access did 21% battery use over 24 hours, and 55% over 3 days before charging. That's just crazy. Simply bananas. As a disclaimer, I bought 4 phones total and ran into a bug on one of my phones (that others have reported as well on some units) where a full discharge of the battery was not able to be recharged from fully dead without some serious fiddling. I managed to get that phone charging again and decided to try and run the battery down (testing) and I ran into problems. I couldn't tax the battery. I ran benchmarks, 3D intensive simulations, etc... the thing would not give up it's battery. I'm returning the questionable phone, but given that there are bad eggs in any production batch, I'm not docking any stars. I think this phone is worth the 5 stars, regardless of the occassional bad build.

Cons? There's no "advanced" features. There's no LTE (4G) radio on board. There's no NFC sensor for sharing links or doing financial transactions. There's no wireless charging, nor any 802.11ac support for the WiFi. However the average user might not really care about, or need, those things. LTE would've been nice, and most people have been convinced that they need 4G in their lives. However many are reporting real-life 3-4Mb/s transfer rates on their Moto G's... I get 12Mb/s on my DSL. How much speed do you really need to check the weather? I don't see how NFC didn't make the cut, but I guess at the price I can't complain. I'm not wild that the volume rocker is on the same side as the power button, but that's not a big deal.

Pros? This phone feels great in the hand. It has a good weight. I never liked the ultra-light feel of the samsung flagship phones. The phone feels solid despite having a user removable back plate. Oh, and you can replace the back plate with colorful replacements, or flip covers, or what have you.

For most anyone, this will be an absolutely fantastic choice. Don't be afraid, just buy it.

The Nexus 5 phone is great, BUT THIS PRODUCT IS NOT NEW. I was under the impression that I would have been buying a sealed factory product. The box was a little beat up but was sealed so I wasn't too worried about the product. I've had the phone for about a month, and I haven't had any complaints until today. I managed to break the glass that covers the camera lens. I had ordered a replacement part and replacing it was quick and easy. That wasn't the problem. When I removed the phones back cover I could tell the phone had suffered liquid damage. In the places that was suppose to have adhesive, it was clearly scraped off and not replaced. There was even 2 missing screws that held the camera glass part in place. Not only is this phone a refurb, it was refurbished by someone that clearly didn't care.

I have worked as a computer repair tech doing warrant and refurbishment work for over 10 years. I've repaired thousands of laptops and tablets so I have a bit of an idea of what to look for and expect here. Like I said I'm happy with the actual phone, but I now must question the quality of the refurbishment. Will this device fail prematurely? The fact that I thought I was buying a new product is a big let down as well. Be advised.

It's a great phone, but Buyer's Beware. The D821 is the International Version of the Nexus 5. It does not have all the correct bands to use LTE in North America. You'd think American sellers would mention that Americans should not get this phone unless they're heading overseas. Only after spending two hours on the phone with AT&T without success and then doing more internet research did I find out that the difference between a D820 and a D821 is a big deal. The phone works, but you won't get the data speeds you're paying for.

I have read amazing things about this phone. Most of them are true. As always, I would prefer Android better, and having a nexus makes you experience Android at its best. Unfortunately, when I opened the phone and took the first picture I found out the camara is damaged.
Before ordering, I read another buyer had a negative experience with this seller. I just wished my experience was going to be better. I recommend the phone, but I have my doubts about the vendor. If you are interested on this phone, you may want to look for another seller.
